A steady red light is a fault in the security or safety systems on the bike. Check for stored DTCs. The -- is the system failing to read the sensor. The -- can also be tire pressure over 50 PSI. If the bike is under warranty check for DTCs, but don't clear and then take the bike in. The codes you'll be looking for are C0083 - General TPMS issue and C2000 - Issue Front Sensor. These codes WIL NOT show up in the radio DTC section so be sure and check for them at the gauges.
It was 6 years ago, don’t Romberg if it just stopped or was intermittent at first. I do remember one day I started the bike red light on and the rear tire wasn’t reading, checked with a gauge and tire was fine. Took it to the dealer they checked and replaced it.
If it under warranty take it in.
One to replace you musts have the tool to enter the new serial number or pay the dealership to do. You have to break down tire to replace it.
The TPMS does strange **** on its own. 2020 or so RGL battery in sensor should not be wore out yet.
When bike has sat over night drop air pressure at least 5 pound . pump it back up to desired pressure and wait
It can take TPMS a while to read it.
Always a chance it has failed. Most often it is battery in it is done. Some have cut them open put a new battery in . But they don't last from what I have heard.

I didn't think of that that a new one would have to be entered with the HD computer, taking off the tire is not an issue for me as have a no mar changer but if the nuisance alarm continues guess will just have the dealer do it as bike is under warranty until 6/23.

Just for reference. The reason my store code and the one I enter was the same. I had the wheel off for over a week and it lost the connection. had to reset it.
[QUOTE=MRFREEZE57;20791473]I get an occasional alarm on my RGL for the front TPMS, the red light comes on and the front tire pressure reads blank, am guessing a faulty sensor? Was thinking would just replace myself
I have the same issue but rear goes blank. Codes C0083h and C2001h
