did you miss something in my post? I am absolutely not bitchiung about my 06 or 07 Electra Glides, or my76 AMF Sporty that was leaking oil on the sales floor when I bought it, or the repossessed78 AMF FLH I bought in 1980. I love everyone of my H-D scoots, even those good ole AMF scoots.
I was and still am poking fun at the RUBs and whiners. And that sir is why the MOCO should be providing the Cheese n' Crackers. And that is an intended punn.

So What?? good God Man in the old days a new bike was a 30 day warrenty or 1,000 miles which ever came first, thats why those of us that rode then learned to work on our own stuff..the fact of the matter is that if one wanted to ride across country he had to be a pretty damn good mechanic, now days all we have to do is dial a cell phone and we got instant help..times have changed, I like it better now myself, but I sure would not bitch when I had a problem with a new bike and the dealer was fixing it under warrenty..maybe it is the difference in riders?

Thank God Al G. didn't invent the INTERNET back in the AMF days. If he had, H-D wouldn't exist today.
