Default Bose QC II Earbuds

I know some of us use earbuds for music and GPS when riding. Been using Bose QC earbuds for a couple years and thought I’d try the new and updated version, Bose QC II earbuds. Same battery life (6 hours…), new case (not QI chargeable), but much smaller and better ear fittings (don’t go deeply into your ear canal). The old version is the best noise cancelling earbuds I’ve worn…these are supposed to be even better. I’ll let you know…

I use Airpods pro. Great for blocking wind noise on the highway, and since I'm close to deaf and prefer them to my regular $3000 hearing aids anyway, they work really well to enhance surrounding sounds while lowering the volume of the bike / exhaust in town. Until I got them, I had NO idea my clutch lever squeaks every time I pull it in.

Hopefully the QCII's will be great for riding!

Edit: - Want to add that people are probably going to question the legality of wearing noise cancelling earbuds while riding. Yes, in many states (including mine), they are illegal. That said, I've never been bothered by police while wearing them and they are bright white - quite visible. Since they seal tightly to the ear canal, and ALL sound is blocked, then digitally reproduced by the circuitry, loud noises such as exhaust and wind noise are reduced, while quiet sounds like birds and distant sirens are enhanced. I maintain they are safer than riding without, but a judge would likely disagree.
For people wearing a helmet of course, this is irrelevent.

Problem with this style of ear bud is that when I take my helmet off (full face), they fall out of my ears and onto the ground.

I've been using the Elgin Rumble

They don't have ANC but keep a LOT of noise out. Music quality is good and fit nicely under helmet. When not in use they just hand around my neck. No need to dig out a case. I've tried a bunch of options. This is best I've found so far.

I've had a pair of JLab earbuds for a little over a year. They are the type that hook over your ear so it helps with keeping them in place while getting a FF helmet on and off. No ANC but they came with foam tips that help block out some sound.

Interested to see how the Bose work out. I have a pair of Bose headphones with ANC that I use while I'm working and the sound (and lack there of) is great.

Will be looking forward to your review. I never liked that little loop the original QC earbuds have. I use
these these
by Sony. Very good ANC and I like the bass boost when riding, as most earbuds loose the low end on the audio when riding.

While I would LOVE to have a nice set of ANC BT Earbuds, I would be waaaay to afraid to send one bouncing down the interstate after it blew out of my ear wearing only 1/2 helmets. While I've not had it happen to me yet, it's happened to my wife a multitude of times. Luckily, it's tethered with it's wire, so she just picks up off her chest and plugs it back in again, lol! We've used the LG Tones for year and quite happy with them......

I've been fully expecting this with the Airpods, but they have proven reliable to 100MPH and 200+ miles at a time so far.

My '13 King motor has been pretty flawless but what stretch of highway did you do 100mph for 200+ miles?

I got snugphones and they have really strong cord, battery last 8hrs and have security clip to keep them on when not in use. Love it but I believe they discontinued these but cool item. If not with music I use them as ear plugs

Those look cool. I can't keep anything in my ears more than 50 miles, or they fall out when I pull the lid. I have tried Air Pods, AirPod Pros, and a few others...ridiculous money spent.
Might give those you posted with a half helmet.

I finally just dropped a bunch on a stereo upgrade, I want to hear some tunes on long runs.
