On my '09 RK I drilled inside to keep all hoses out of sight. Now everything is hiddden including the main hose that goes down along the front fork.

Did the same thing, got mine from DK Customs. Haven’t noticed any oil mist anywhere on the bike or my pant leg. Seems like a pretty simple solution.

My reason for breather method was to prevent crankcase vapors from coating the passages of the induction module.
After many miles they are clean and new looking.

I only ran my hose out to atmosphere , not a lot of oil coming out , so not worth the catch can .

Definitely better. To each their own, I opted for pushloc and AN fittings

A word of caution from a lesson learned. I thought I would be able to get away with 1/8" ID tubing instead of the 1/4" most kits use. I ended up replacing my rocker box lower gaskets in short order. Not a horrible job, but now I have 1/4" ID lines after redrilling and retapping my air cleaner. There's too much pressure for a 1/8" line to effectively relieve.
