I put a Mega Crank battery in my previous bike (Road King) and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one.

I've been using them in my bikes for a long time and usually get 5 years out of them and Battery Mart is top notch.

thanks for replies, i was just wondering, i try to buy usa made when i can. replacing a big crank from 4 years ago. kinda surprised it only lasted 4 years since it was always on a tender. mega was on sale for $109 with free shipping. big crank was $149 plus shipping so i went with the mega crank.

I think you will be happy and if you use a battery tender, you should get 4-5 years of trouble free battery performance

in my experience anything beyond 4 years on an automotive battery (car, truck, or motorcycle) is “extra time”……i know some guys will report 7, 8, 9+ years on a bike battery…..unfortunately these days my luck has been 4-5 years on every automotive battery i have had for the last 10+ years……your mileage may vary ;-)

Thumbs up

Have not tried this brand. However I just found on line and ordered a {Yuasa GYZ32HL} AGM, 500 CCA. This came highly recommended by one of our friends in this forum. Best of luck to the both of us.

You will be fine - dfixit1 -

Yuasa is a well known brand - been around a long time, with a solid reputation.

As i say that, I noted a significant drop off in automotive battery longevity some years ago, when i was still off-roading in the desert……used to be that Odyssey Red/Yellow/Blue top batteries were the benchmark, and then, seemingly over night, the Odyssey battery manufacturing plant moved to Mexico……I went through 3 Red tops under warranty…..never purchased another one after that….

So, your mileage may vary, but you should be good to go for 4-5 years
