I have one on my 2020 CVO Road Glide. It's been on for 2.5 years and over 100,000 miles. I love the profile and how it performs. Low profile but still a smooth ride.

Also, keep in mind that if you swap out seats for single or 2 up riding, your seat position will change and will ultimately change your view over/through the shield...or I guess you can swap out your shield as well.

@Zonktified Makes a very good point.

I'm riding a rather lean, low-sitting Le Pera RT66 seat which I know for sure puts me lower on the bike than a stock seat. I'd likely need a 1" taller (maybe more) shield if riding a stock seat. Seat height is absolutely crucial to getting the correct windshield.

I to was a very satisfied customer of Freedom Shield. Nice owner, great service and a high quality product. Ran it for about three years on our CVO Limited. When we bought the second bike a SGS I decided to try my first Klock Werks shield in an effort to keep a low profile and cleaner look. WOW, I had no idea how effective the KW shields are. So much so that I added one to the CVO also. It’s lower than the Freedom and more effective. Just my 2 cents worth and experience.

Another very happy customer of Freedom Shields here. I'm running a 7" standard width in light grey tint on my FLHTP.

Cosmic, I tried a KW several years ago, the biggest complaint I had was the distortion at the flip up/curve top of the shield.
I fully understand they’re designed to be looked over not through, there are times you gotta duck behind.
Do the KW still have that distortion?

I have never in 15 year, 160k miles over 6 bikes ducked behind a windshield. The first thing I always do is replace them with one I can easily see over, or at least is not in my line of sight. That for me is what makes the KW so attractive. I would have to go check. Most likely there has to be some distortion with sharpLy curved plastic.

My wife as a passenger is comfortable with both shields at interstate speeds. I do get just a slight wiggle from my sunglasses on the 5 inch shield at speed when wearing a half helmet.

Hope this helps.
