Im looking at the biketronics kit and adding a cd player to get rid of the tape deck and I will be running speakers off the head unit with no amp. Only thing I cant decide on is speakers. I have read alot about Hogtunes replacement speakers and all of the comments seem to be very good. On the other hand 200 bucks to me seems outragious for a set of speakers. What makes them better then just gettting a nice set from another brand such as Polk 5.25 or Kicker 5.25 The specs on theses speakers seem to be as good if not better then Hogtunes...dont know this for sure since Hogtunes dosent have all the specs listed. Some one please fill me in on what Im missing???
Giime a hollar if there are questions, but the one post is correct--$200 gets you an Ultra kit with all 4 speakers. If you decide to order off the site, we offer a 10% discount for members of e forums like this one by using the "hidden" link www.hogtunes.com/membersdealpage.htm where the total for one pair after the discount is $107.45 delivered.

I don't have them yet as i'm waiting for the '06 2 ohm version to come out, but from everything I have read they sound great and CUSTOMER SERVICE is rated the BEST. That in my book says alot for me.
I cant speak for the other brands but I really like my hogtunes, easy install with stock connecters and they stand behind their products. Im pretty sure Polk and Kicker dont offer the warranty and sevice that Hogtunes does.
Don't be so quick to judge these speakers as expensive. I love mine, I think they are a deal.
Yes, there are other speakers out there, but, a hole pile of guys with bikes just like yours aren't telling you to buy the other ones!
