Protect primary case from bike drop?

I think they are made of stainless steel, at least the bar guards are.

The problem i see with that is it puts all the weight on 2 bolts that bolt directly to the engine cases. No thanks on that thing.

The front engine guard and rear saddlebag guards works for me on my SG.

Yes. I would think the added leverage would snap the bolt heads, or stretch them and cause future problems, but that is my opinion.

When I drop my 04, the engine guard and then the bag guard protects the primary from ever touching.

That’s the way it works with an big Harley I know of. So I really don’t see what that additional guard does.
