Making great progress on my CB install. I added the overlay harness and the CB came to life. Working on the Console Pod wire extension today. I have a "ground plane-less" antenna on its way and a TNC - SO239 adaptor. The HD dealer kept trying to sell me the Communications Switch Kit which includes the left handle bar controls and fairing speaker switch. My previous post lists all of parts that I acquired for the job. The only thing that I can't figure out is when HD installs the console pod how do they get the wires into the fairing. I don't have a problem extending them but I'm sure that the dealers don't do this. There must be a over priced extension cable that they use.
