I was broke down in the middle of nowhere in Arizona with no phone service (Cell) and the CB Radio save my butt! Otherwise I don't use it at all, but I would not be without one.

Friend got one for his Ultra and mentioned the CB was a total waste of money (even though it comes stock on a Ultra). He doesn't use it, never seen him use it, and frankly never seen him listen to music on the road.
OK, need to order the wire harness and cap and antenna. Do I need to have someone make an extension like cglofland? Or just these 3 items, I have the dash panel, radio and screw set.
Finally got back to solving my problem of no mic audio. I pinned out the wiring from the tank console plug to the wires at the end before the plug. Found a problem, the schematic shows pin 1 to Black and mic shared (-), pin 4 next to it to be red mic (+), but mine with the ohm meter are reversed, the black and red, hence no audio. Also the shield wire is not connected. Taking every apart now, appears I have a faulty console harness.

Hmmm, my buddy's brand new Ultra had a bad console harness too. Worked for just a day and then nothing.
I had the exact same issue with my console harness bought from chicago harley

I mailed off the front sheet from the electrical dia. manual to Harley complaining about the pin out shown in the book and what I got from a dealer, part 77121-98. So will wait to see if they answer.
Did you cut the cable (77121-98) and just add addional wire? Also is the DIN 5 or 7 pins? Where are you getting all of these part numbers from? I have the "big book", "electrical diagnostics", and "shop manual" and all I can say is HD's documentation is very poor with many errors.
Just getting started with my install. Have the CB module and starting to order other parts. So far I understand I need the following for my '07 FLTR:
There is also a OEM Part numbers manual you can get. Talk with the guys at Zanotti's HD in Pa. They got me the OEM part numbers manual for a small fee and all the parts so far. https://www.zanottimotor.com/shopping/partLookUp.html
