I also have an '08 Street Glide. It is such a clean bike that I didn't want the J&M unit mounted on the handlebars. However, I did want an intercom for 2-Up riding and a GMRS radio to communicate with someone in a vehicle. Check out this link: http://www.jmcorp.com/SeeProducts.asp?PF=29
Saw that in person at hollister....It's huge. It's like 4" by 3" and 1 1/2" deep...It's much bigger then it looks....
J & M would still be my choice for a non-fairing bike....but I think I'd pay the extra $$ for a setup...that's all personal preference though.

Bought one of the cb modules on e-bay and have the cable 70169-06, the switches are in the left pod, now for an antenna and someway to connect to a helmet.....Any ideas out there, the console on the road glide is not as high as the ultra, not sure if I can all the cable kit 77121-98, and to compound this, how does the wired speaker switch on the road glide fit into this equation?
I just finished installing the JMCB-2003 on my 2001 SE RG. The complete system with headsets and adapter to hook your stereo into it will cost $800 from Sierra. I also installed the RG, J&M speakers for another $100. If you go this route let me know and I can give you some pointers. Either way you will still require the headsets and cables which are not cheep @ (2 for$333).
