Detachables lock with tour pack

The instructions say not use these locks with the tour pack, but has anyone successfully done it? If not, how do you keep your tour pack from being stolen?

I bought a pack which had 2 locks in it. I use 1 on chopped tour pack and 1 on backrest.

You can either use a lock or you can go very cheap route and use a zip tie in a space where the little slide thing goes. It prevents for the "lock" to be open.

I ordered two oem locks from my dealer , installed them both on my tour pack , no issues .

I don't think they work with the Solo tour pack bracket... until you modify one of the keys (handles too long)....

Yep.
And they’d have to know why they can’t get it off and have a pair of pliers to twist the zip tie off.

I went cheap and just drilled a hole by the cam and put a bolt with the nut on the inside, gonna take 2 wrenches to get it off, or 1 wrench and 1/4 drive ratchet with socket.

I use that lock on the left side only, but I don’t remember why…..it’s been a while since I installed it. It might have been due to the orientation and lack of room for the key.
