Weeboy1, when I bought my '08 FLHT, the sales person tried to tell me that the noise I heard when the ignition was turned in, was the oil pump sending oil to the top end prior to starting. I've changed many a motorcycle tire in my shop, and I've never lost a weight. I believe one of my riding amigos lost one on his last change.
Doesn't matter, I'm a believer now in the balancing beads. I know, I know, I used to hurrumph and garumph about them, but they've won me over. Plus I have a small hand held shop vac, when I break a tire down I can easily suck them out and reuse them as they are more expensive. They're ceramic, you're not going to hurt them.
I still have a large supply of both black and chrome lead weights, but they're gonna sit where they're at.
And on the FWIW list, I'm not putting any liquid **** in my motorcycle tire.....
