Default Ever thrown a wheel weight?

You have ridden long enough you tossed a wheel weight or two, the cutesy tape on weights are a when not if item unless you glue them on.

Weeboy1, when I bought my '08 FLHT, the sales person tried to tell me that the noise I heard when the ignition was turned in, was the oil pump sending oil to the top end prior to starting. I just said, "oh, really?" Saw no reason to say I was the service writer at a motorcycle shop, and knew about the fuel pump in the tank. Some people..

Have you tried the Ride-On stuff?
Am curious, would that Ride On cause a problem with the TPMS sensors?

According to what I read on their website, it’s safe for all TPS sensors that are sealed. There’s a few bikes listed that aren’t safe, but Harley wasn’t one of them. It’s easy to look on the website or send them a message if you’re not sure.

I've changed many a motorcycle tire in my shop, and I've never lost a weight. I believe one of my riding amigos lost one on his last change.

Doesn't matter, I'm a believer now in the balancing beads. I know, I know, I used to hurrumph and garumph about them, but they've won me over. Plus I have a small hand held shop vac, when I break a tire down I can easily suck them out and reuse them as they are more expensive. They're ceramic, you're not going to hurt them.

I still have a large supply of both black and chrome lead weights, but they're gonna sit where they're at.

And on the FWIW list, I'm not putting any liquid **** in my motorcycle tire.....

Lawnmower yes, motorcycle no.....

Just went Centramatics on my Wing. Wow. It's so smooth it feels like I just put a new set of tires on. Never going back to stick-on weights.

Can't even see them. If nobody pointed them out, you wouldn't even know they were there. They're behind the rotors.
