Ouch, I wonder if they'll admit that something happened while they had it?
I went out to the garage to go for a ride last summer and a wheel weight was sitting on the floor next to my tire. Fortunately I could see exactly where it came off, put it back on with some double sided Gorilla tape. That's the only time I can think of that I lost one, but then, would I have noticed if that happened while out on a ride? Hard to say.
I have asked if they heard it or noticed it. Bike is effing loud so doubtful. However, I don't see how it could be their fault. It was probably compromised and the wheel speed on the dyno was all it took to let go. Unfortunate angle of exit. I just put a new seat on a few days prior and that was most definitely not there.
It's funny, that back wheel hasn't even been washed yet.
The bike is brand new, so that really is crappy. The first dent hurts the worst. I guess you can think of it as getting it out of the way sooner. Or, an excuse for custom paint. Really, I got nuthin...
