the only thing that kept me from buying an 07 RG instead ofa 07 SG was the silver engine. I know the 08s have the blacken engine now. I too like both. the RG's big shark nosed front view and theSG's 'sled-like' side profile both look mean! [sm=deal.gif]19"s here.
About $530 bucks ... and the RG handles better; more clearance; better suspension (unless you want a lowered bike). Why don't you just test ride them both and see for yourself? I personally like the look of the batwing better myself but didn't want the lower riding style of the Street Glide ... I'll always have the Electra Glide Classic.

shhhhhhh!!! You are supposed to say that the RG is horrible remember? The secret cannot get out.
yes, yes...... that's right!
RG's BLOW!
I hear that fixed mount fairing catches a lof air and causes the front wheel to lift! One can't have that.
They're both great bikes. I will differ with you on the fairing catching air and lifting the front end. Hasn't happened to me yet although I only have a few hundred miles under my belt on this bike. BTW, if your trying to start a verbal battle, you will have to try WAY HARDER.
Did you happen to notice PhilM's signature pic?
You know the RG on the left side of the pic with the front end in the air?
Thats a screen shot from a video he made of his front end in the air on his RG... he probably has the hottest RG of those on these forums.....
