I am looking to rake my 06road king 4 to 6 deg. Has anyone done this? How should I go about doing it with out wrecking ride quality? Can I get raked tripple trees for this bike?
Check out AME chopper kits. Just do a search and their site will come up. I think the exact address is something original like amechopperkits.com. Not sure though. They claim their kits don't change handling. I am not sure if they have one for a bagger though.
I'm dying to rake mine too. I don't want real long tubes but a low kinda stretched stance. If anyone has pics of a Road King that has been raked please do post them.
check out www.projectbikes.org Abear's Road King has been raked looks great. I emailed him regarding his bike. He says it handles great at high speed with no wobble 100mph. Low speed turning is more like a fatboy. I have never rode a fat boy so I don't know what that like. I was thinking of trying a set of raked bearing cups. What do you think about that? I am going to try the other site and see if they make kits for Road Kings.
long as you keep your rake and trail in the proper range you wont have any problem, your headlight is gonna point up in the air a little if you dont make a spacer to tilt it back down. Let me know if I can help.

I got a question for you. Ever seen a rk with a springer front end? I would love to know what it might look like. I just love the way a spinger looks, but wonder how it might look, or if it is possible, on a rk.
