I have a 2017 Harley Davidson Road Glide Specail. For the past month I have been getting a check engine light Error code P0327.... googling and looking researching one of the main diags have suggeted a knock sensor. I am contiplating changing my spark plugs and the knock sensor to see if this fixes the issue. I am the only owner and believe and I can't recall ever having my spark plugs changed. I have a Fp3 fuel pack on my bike that I thought could be causing the issue. I bypassed it re-flashing my ECU with the factory map..... cleared the codes... check engine lights goes away I let bike idle for awhile one time and the other time test road and sure enough the check engin elight returned. I'd really would hate to take to the Harley Dealership as I know they will charge me out of the wazoo for a simple fix.... Would you all start with changing spark plugs and it says bank 1 knock sensor to see it that fixes it? I have jacked my bike and checked every wire I could get to to make sure nothing was loose. BTW even with the check engine light on the bike still ran strong and sounded normal... I am just don't like riding my Hog with any check check engine lights on. Light it yellow btw if that helps any. Any and all input is welcome and appreciated.

Why change a part until it's tested to know if the sensor is actually bad, whether it's wiring or even whether you have a dying battery. If happens regularly, that would rule out bad fuel. Can you swap the sensors from one side to the other to at least see if the problem migrates with the sensor? From the parts fiche looks like its the same part number for both sensors. If you haven't changed the plugs, probably a good idea regardless.
