Been looking for, I think, some Buckhorn type handlebars for my 2005 Roadking. I presently have 16" apes and they're a bit much for this old dude! My last 01 Roadking, I replaced the bars with Buckhorns and traveled to Illinois to Arizona twice and Sturgis once. The bars were great but...I am having difficulty finding any "Internal wiring" type bars for the bike. My 01 Roadking were external. I ordered some Tall Boy bars from Harley...was told they were internal wiring type...They weren't! JP cycles don't seem to have any handlebars that have the holes for internal wiring. You guys know of a good place to look for Handlebars? Don't want the cheap stuff anyway...
Might be worth giving KST Customs a call. They made a Heritage-style (not the Softail Heritage bars) handle bars for my King a while back in 1 1/4". Pretty sure all their bars are for internal wiring.
I know they do prewiring for 14+ bikes where you can send in your controls and they will put them on the bars with wire extension. They might also do for pre-14.
