Check measurement method specified in your workshop manual, as its different for some model/years. Some say check it with rider sat on it upright, some say check it on sidestand, and mine says check it with the rear wheel off the ground. From memory I think my 04 train said to check it with a rider sat on it.
HD workshop manual and a parts manual are money well spent.
