I've only been a part of this forum for a short time. My RG has less than 500 miles on it. In that short time I've noticed that many of the posts are down right negative. I just wanted to chime in with some positive comments to balance out all the negative karma. Maybe just maybe the bad karma will miss me.
I am SO HAPPY with my new bike I COULD JUST SCREAM. I am having very few of the serious problems that several other 07 owners are having. Sure, I'm spending money on pipes, PCIII, air cleaner, sissy bar, etc. but that is half the fun. I also have an 04 sporty. Compared to it, my RG is a Cadilac! I LOVE MY ROAD GLIDE! Enough said.
I am with you three.... there was a recent poll on who is happy, who is not..... I mentioned life is good...and I avoid negative and bitchy people.... Congrats of your RG... to the unhappy people.... life is too short..... and your missing out on a lot of fun....
It seems that is pretty much what forums are, a place where people who are having a problem with something come to find out why and how to fix it. The people looking for fixes are the most vocal while the ones not having problems lurk and chime in once every so often. I will praise my bike as well, besides the fact that it does run hot (t-max or dtt being debated), I am extremely happy with it. It is just what I wanted it to be. When I think about what a Harley is, my RG is what comes to mind. This is what I wanted, a Harely Davidson motorcycle.[sm=americanasmiley.gif][sm=biker2.gif]
