OK, good to know. I don't want them any firmer, though...lol. They are already pretty stout. I'm 6'3" and weigh 185. Probably not your average Harley rider weight, LOL. I'm guessing stock setups are tuned for more weight in general, especially on the large touring bikes.

eh, idk. if theres nothing in them you could be bottoming out too easy. 180 should be in their range.

Just putting heavier weight shock oil in the stock shocks helped mine out a bunch. I am 190 lbs and run 6-8 psi in them. I also modified them to have a direct input with one single line running from one to the other rather than extra points of failure they come from the factory with.

hello from a former FtW neighbor... If you can make your way over to the dealer on airport freeway, ask for Chad. He was BEYOND helpful when I was choosing my RGU. I didnt know if I wanted a limited and his expertise put me on the right bike..

Thanks I will keep his name in mind in case that dealer has a bike I become interested in.

Well, something might be wrong with my pump...when I connect it to the shocks, I can't get the pressure on the gauge to go up. So, not sure what is going on there...not gonna bother to trouble shoot, It's been fine this long, I can ride it a bit longer as is until I get a new bike (which I will then be doing a full suspension on right away).
