The best advice I can give you is get everything installed hand tight at first. Then work your way from the heads back to the mufflers as you tighten. Take you time and make sure everything is lined up like you want it. Use anti-seize on the head studs.

You wont get much of that here. Most of us do all we can on our bikes. The dealer charges a lot for work, and a lot of it, we can and do do ourselves. If ya get stuck on something, post it up, someone here will help you. I, on the other hand, have a carb on my bike, so, other than exhaust and a/c, I would be no help. Have fun with it.

i agree with biggzed another thing is use a sealer where the pipe meets the manifold, and around the threads on the 02 sensor, i think the stuff i used was ultra copper it can be found at any auto parts store, whatever you use make sure itsNON- hardening, when i installed my pipes the manufacturer suggested it for a couple of reasons. 1 to help to eliminate popping during decel. 2 it will help the 02 sensors come out easier if they ever need to be replaced, after i removed my stock pipes i tried to take out the 02 sensors to give to a friend (because my new ecm came with 02 sensors) ans the exhaust pipe actually bent. good luck

If you use a sealer on the 02 Threads, make certain that it does not come in contact with the "nose" of the 02. Most sealers have lead in them and that will kill an )2 sensors faster than a $$$$ in the punch bowl.

OK I will go get the pics of it tonight, then figure out how to post the damn things. I would like to say that I did learn a number of things on this install and they are:
1. Just cause you have a buddy who says he know's what he's doing doesn't mean he does! Example He had the directions and when we finished putting the pipes on he said I gotta go you can put the heat shields on right? Moral of this is that the freakin heat shields had to be installed on the headers then the whole thing goes on the bike!
2. When the bike doesnt start after the install don't hide in the corner of the garage crying...Cowboy up and figure it out dont be scared that sparks just shot out of your switch housing!!! You have a fire extinguisher and tools and if that doesn't work a trailer to take it to the dealer!
3. Make sure your ground isn't attached to a mounting plate with paint...(Will save at least 2 hours of cussing and drinking too much)
4. Send the wife shopping or something else to keep her occupied so she doesnt keep coming to the garage saying are you sure you know what your doing??? Cause it doesnt look like you know what your doing!!!
5. The best lesson learned is that my 5 year old son is my biggest fan and that for the first time his help was invaluable in getting the pipes on. More so then my "buddy" who left a few hours into it.
