After speaking to another dealer today and them agreeing my screen should not do that when riding in the rain I have made an appointment to take it in for them to check and hopefully replace
I have a 2020 CVO Limited and what you described has happen to me once. I tracied it back to washing my bike and accidently getting water in USB plug. While cleaning the bike I bumped the storage area door in the fairing and it opened. I didn't notice it right away and water got into the plug. It dried out the next day and haven't had a problem since. I like many others have reported above, have ridden many miles in the rain and that hasn't caused any issues.

well, that's awesome. now the hard part is going to be getting them to see it doing it. they won't replace on just your word, they have to actually see it.
I've ridden in the rain many, many times. This issue happened to me once, when water was on the screen it flicked between pages over and over. I even turned it off and it would turn itself back on. Only happened that one time.
I never considered it an issue. Cell phones do that when they get water on the screen too. Matbe it was a bad thing and could have gotten it fixed.
Just had that happen to me in a rain storm. Turned out to be water on the bottom of the screen. Would anyone who this happed to have a screen protector installed??

I said to them the problem is it only does it when riding in heavy rain, they said they had seen it before and got it changed with warranty, fingers crossed they can do the same for me

The dealer who is going to look at mine said they had seen one before where the rain hit the screen and acted like your was touching it and changed screens while riding, said they should NOT do that and managed to get it changed under warranty

Mine's not under warranty any more. And to tell the truth, even if it was I wouldn't replace with another factory unit. If it wasn't for the fact that I use my CB I'da replaced it with the Soundstream unit in a heart beat. Worst GPS system I've ever used. I've used a cheap Chinese's Garmin knock off that worked better. Harley should be ashamed.
