Ditto here. I had an 03 fatboy that I purchased from Ocala, FL HD but had serviced locally in Tampa. Well Tampa service would always call within a day or 2 of me picking up the bike. Again they know my name when I walk in and I ride with a few of the managers now. Bought my last 2 bikes there and still get great service. Tampa HD!!
When I purchased my 06 RK, got close to the 1K check. My dealer was booked out to far. So went to another and had that preformed.
But, from the purchase I have had about 3 actual phone calls, 4 or 5 Thank you cards, a personalized calender with a photo of me on it. ( I thought they took the photo upon delivery to give to the police for a wanted posted if I missed payments and they had to repo it)
And a card with the same photo in that. Not to mention enrollment in the HOG and local chapeter. I have never been treated like this with the ricers I've owned or any the cars or trucks I've purchased!
I have ordered close to 2K in parts and accessories so far that has been ok as far as notification an all.
And have received one H-D mfg, and one dealership satisfaction survey each.
Maybe they are feeling guilty for making so much money on them?
