You may want to go to the dealer and sit on a couple of different bikes. You may find bars from another bike fit you. At one point I had Heritage bars on one of my earlier RoadKings.
LA Choppers 8" Twin peaks might do it for you. DennisKirk
I ordered these yesterday and later called and cancelled the order, the height is probably good but I was afraid that some pull back would be lost. But I am still thinking about them.
You can always roll your bars slightly forward or back, depending on what you are trying to get for comfort.
Yes there is some adjustment there, I have heard with 1.25 bars on a batwing bike that you can't bring them back much because they will hit the tank. And the twin peaks are a 1.25 bar.

I have the twin peaks 10s and the wrist angle will be similar as NoRegerts indicated above….so you likely still won’t be happy.
Maybe talk to Hill City Customs.
I've run apes but never with a stock seat. To me a good seat comes before changing handlebars. If you dont plan on changing seats, you are on the right path. If you go to another seat, then your seating position will change how handlebars feel. I usually run Hammock seats on my bikes which sets you a bit higher and back from the stock touring seats. Big fan of Khromewerk products, they make a variety of handlebars for batwing bikes.
I tried +2 narrows didn't work either, too far back.
Are you talking about the Krome Werks 2+2 narrow sweepers.
Either way ya might call Krome Werks with the part number and explain what you want.
This way they have a set of dimensions to start with to help you get to where you want.
Have heard of this being done as well as for me at one time.

It was the +2 narrows, 2+2 would be higher than I want.
