I bought (and still have) a brand new pair in anticipation of my new C&C seat putting me too far back to reach my Fat Bagger flat tops, as they are wider, and are right in line with the fairing contour. Luckily, it all worked out with the FBI bars, and all is perfect!
To help with understanding why not going a 12 inch or even a 10 inch is because I have osteoarthritis, right shoulder is worn out and keeping my arm as low as possible is the most comfortable for me.
It appears that the bars I would like to have are just not available, likely because they are so close to the specs of the stock bars. A better way might be for me to send my seat to mean city and have some adjustments made, I can probably get myself where I want to be in regards to the bars but it will cramp my legs just a little but I think I can get close enough to where I want to be with having the seat upgraded with mean city. Maybe a 1/2 inch lower and a 1/2 forward would be a good compromise and not crowd my legs.
Just changed my bars out and wasn't sure whether the beach bars I had on my previous bike would work the new one. So, I ordered both WO550 and WO504, did a mock set up on the bike before putting them on and made my decision. Restocking fees are WAY cheaper than changing bars AFTER they've been installed.
