ABS Light (Intermittent) - No Engine Codes
At the beginning of the riding season, my ABS has been coming on intermittently and not generating any engine codes. I noticed it will come on under hard acceleration. And it is very intermittent.
So far I have:
- Bleed the front and rear brakes (and ABS unit)
- Replaced the front ABS wheel sensor
- Replaced the front wheel bearings
Over the winter, I plan to install new rear wheel bearings, new rear sensor and a new brake bleed, but I am hoping to avoid that if possible.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
When was the AS last flushed and Cycled correctly? if it was not cycled the flush does not count.
If it has not been flushed and cycled have it done Now before it is to late.

Do you have OEM size tires and wheels...?
During the hard accleration, are your rear tires spinning at all...?
Just a WAG, but if your wheels and/or tires are slightly oversized, when conditions exist that may cause the tire to grow in diameter (like heavy acceleration) the signals sent to the ABS confuse it temporarily...
Have you done as smitty901 suggests and tested the ABS to see if it is working when it should...?
While a problem doesn't always set a DTC (diagnostic trouble code), generally speaking, if the ABS light flashes, a DTC should be set. It seems strange to me that you could be getting numerous ABS light activations, and yet none of them have set a DTC. Even if the cause of the code should quickly resolve by itself, there should be a historic code for 50 cycles before they self-clear.
I am not an ABS expert by any measure, and I don't know if there is an ABS condition that happens, but rarely sets a DTC...
Hopefully someone wise in the ways of the Harley ABS can jump in and give us a clue...

I notice the Dynojet PV4 will at times cause intermittent ABS warning when I'm running live gauges.

With no codes and hard accell makes me think the front wheel speed sensor and the rear wheel speed sensor might not be reading close enough to the same for the system to think everything is good.
Not sure on bikes but on autos /trucks a 4% difference front to rear will set a code though Not all the time. Intermittent like yours

Ok I'll put this way If you bike or auto were in my shop I'd be hooking up a scanner that could read wheel speed in real time. And record it if possible. .
Other than that it will be a guessing game Sir
