I have a 07 EGC with V&H Ovals and fullsac true duals S/E air cleaner. I am only getting 34 mpg at the best. Anyone have the same set-up like to give any pointers on where to adjust at or a map to share. Thanks MDodson
A lot depends on your riding style and weather you ride in town or highways. For cruising you can lean out the numbers in the 5 & 10 % throttle columns between 2000 and 3000 rpm. Go in small steps and test for best results.
Do a search and you should find much more detailed information on this. I am sure Iclick will jump in and give more detailed info as he has researched this more than I.
I was also a little concerned after adding the Supertrapp SEs, K&N and the PC-3 to my FLHTC (5K miles). Around the Seattle area, with a mix of roads/freeways/hills/etc., I typically get 37-38. On my trip to Sturgis, I averaged around 43mpg, with a high of 50. I could probably get it tweaked on a Dyno, but it's probably not worth it..
I was getting around 38 to 40 mpg with my PCIII. When it failed recently I had the stage 1 download put in so I could still ride the bike while the PCIII is being replaced. I'm now getting 41 to 42 mpg with the download and bike runs great. Probably had I leaned out my PCIII this is about where it'd be running now anyway, so may not reinstall it. I've got a little less pep now than I did with the PCIII, but had I leaned out the PCIII map, it'd probably be right where I am now.
My '01 RKC dropped from 44 to just over 40 when I installed the PCIII. I have a new map I've just loaded where I leaned out the 10 & 20% TP values (the typical cruising position) by a third over the map from Jamie. This was after reading many posts by Iclick. If it works as intended, the mpg will increase but still keep the pep at acceleration.
I'm not too concerned about 40 mpg but thought I would play around with it a bit and see if I could get it nudged back up.
bought my pc111 from fuel moto with their download in it. i have the k&n filter and the rush slip ons. i get around 55mpg. that's a mixture of highway and back road riding. bike has only 3,000 on it. bike is 07 sg. 6th gear helps on the highway!
