Default Painted inner fairings
I have a black FLHTP. All black, no pinstriping, no nothing. If I were to paint my inner, would it look goofy if it were anything but black? Like maybe red? Anyone ever do a different color on the inner? I need some color in my life!

Im not opposed to hydro-dipping, just wouldn’t know where to have it done.

Maybe gray. But I think any other color would look funny but it is your bike, do what pleases you. Who cares what anyone else thinks.

I tried looking around for inner fairings that don't match primary color but didn't find anything

The inners that I saw in CF were listed on eBay and such, but I think the big name aftermarket folks have them now too.

Any reason to not use accent pinstriping?

A little bit of color can go a long way. Especially on a sea of black. IMHO....
