On my 2001 RK Classic, the passenger boards brackets have what appears to be a "plug" or some sort of stub of a stud in the top hole. And, I need to move the rear boardsup from the mid point to the top (sothat my vertically challenged wife can sit comfortable without the bag guards into her calves). Are these top holes permanently plugged...or, is there a way to remove the "plug" from the top hole and utilize the stock brackets...or, do I just have to bite the bullet and order different brackets to raise the boards? Thanks for any info.!
