Default ultra antenna

I was looking on ebay and thought about changing out my factory (8 feet long) antennas. I found hogtail shorty antennas -- anyone use these? what what antenna do you recommend?

Thanks in advance fellas (and ladies)

My friend has those on his 03 Ultra and he says FM is just as good. He only uses CB for bike to bike and says reception is same, though if he were goin for long range truck talk it probably wouldn't be as good.

I did what Electrarick did first time around cut about 18" off ,the old lady was still complaining about it smacking her in the back. I bought one of the Hawg Tails and get the same reception as if the fishing pole were still on there.

I had money to burn, so I bought the J & M shortys. They work as advertised, look good, but set me back $80 bucks.
