Default Add-On Gauges

I just received the aftermarket fairing for my '05 RK Classic. I've already setup the stereo / speakers and will also be adding some gauges. What I had in mind was a tachometer, oil pressure and oil temp. Are there any other suggestions as to what I should add? I already have a fuel gauge / voltmeter combo and the stereo has a clock.

I'm also looking for input in regards to the HD 2" Tach, 1.5" gauges or any aftermarket gauges that would work. Not sure if the HD gauges would be too small. I would of course also need the appropriate sensors. Due to the fairing being a quick detach I would like to stay with electrical gauges as opposed to mechanical since it would be much easier to make a single connector for everything.

Thanks for the help,
Brian

Keep the Road king like it is and buy a matching Street Glide or Ultra Classic.

Sorry....I had to.

Digital is the way to go!

Good luck. Let's see some pic's when you get it all together.

Looks like the Dakota Digital will be getting a fair shot in the pricing wars. Just not sure if I want change the look bewteen the stock speedo (being analog) and the new gauges. And I can probably say that doing it this way will be a tad bit cheaper than buying an additional EG. However that is a nice thought except I have a hard enough time deciding what I'm going to eat for lunch let alone trying to decide what bike to ride - LOL

I ended up using the Sony CDX-R5515 with a pair of Infinity marine speakers 602M. Sounds great and no problems hearing the tunes (at least in the test environment - in the garage, fairing on saw horses, stereo playing MP3 disc, bike running with the exhaust reverberating off the walls).

Joe, Cam you tell me where you got your fairing, I've got an 03 FLHRCI and have been thinking about adding one but haven't liked the ones I've seen so far.
Thanks Carl
