Default Engine Mount Question

Can I mount an engine from an 09-16 into an 07 frame? I know the rear mount through the transmission is a different width and the front lower engine mounts were changed with the frame in 09, but will the front lower mount off my stock 07 engine bolt to the lower front of an engine from an 09-16 Twin Cam?? TIA!

The transmission housing is the same so the rear swing arm mount is the same. So is the engine case. The only difference is that the 08 up use a front head mount to stabilize the drive train. The head mounts are still there for 07 and earlier. The 07-16 drive train can be mounted in a 02 to 06 without issue. Left swingarm bracket might need changing. 99 to 2001 need swingarm changes. It can fit in an EVO frame but the front brake master and lower frame cross member needs lowering..

Assuming you are talking bagger drivetrain.

Thanks, yes - looking to mount a CVO SE110 from a 2016 CVO Street Glide in my 07 Electra Glide Standard.
