My 2018 Ultra I recently bought had the dinky 6 inch HD shield on it. My friend has a muffler shop and has been riding since he could walk. People are always giving him stuff. He gave me a couple of recurved Freedom Shields covered with dust. That some one had gave him. They would not fit my 2018. But. Would fit my 2007 Ultra. It is a 10 inch shield. It is like I was sitting in my living room chair. No wind. No distortion in the curve as I have seen in Klockworks reviews. A lot thicker than any other shield. Just for comparison. I bought a $30.00 shield off ebay. For my 2018. It is like I was looking though the bottom of a Tequila bottle after I drank the whole bottle. The Freedom Shield is clear even though the bend . When I buy a shield for my 2018 for real. It will be a Freedom Shield. They give a free trail as long as you do not remove the protective plastic. What more could you ask for? That is just my review. Ride safe.
Replaced my stock windshield on my 21 SG with a dark smoke 7 freedom shield. Night and day! Freedom shield fan for life. The company is amazing to deal with also.
Another fan of Freedom Shield. 18" Light Smoke on my RKS. Took 3 other shields before finding Freedom - selling those 3 shields now. Freedom does a nice Black Friday sale if you can wait few weeks.
I have the Freedom Sheild for my RG but the end well nuts won't tighten down. Keep coming out and vibrating making a hell of a racket while riding. Emailed Freedom Sheilds they suggested replacing the well nuts. Don't think that is going to help.
I don't have experience with Freedom Shields and have seen great reviews. I have a King with a detachable batwing, as well as a Sportster with a quick detach windshield. All have the Clearview recurve shields. No distortions at all and am happy with them. I was looking to get a replacement shield for the batwing and was looking at the LRS and Freedom, still can't decide though.

You need the long well nuts. I have to use them myself.
