2006 Harley ultra value
When I was searching for my LowRider, I would check both the BBP free portal (I don't have a subscription) and JD Power prices. From about 9/2022 until I bought my bike in 2/2023, for any given year, the JD Power numbers were about $500-$800 higher than the BBP numbers.
Just now I checked prices for a 2016 Low Rider;
JD Power= $10,240
Black Book Powersports= $9,595
That $645 difference is the typical range of what I found all those months of searching...
Here is the free BBP portal I use... I don't add a "select Cycle type", I leave it on "all model types". I just add year, then make, then model as the pic lists appear...

suprisingly, i just put the info for the same bike in blackbook and it was 3k higher than nada. idk.

thanks bud, appreciate it. im seeing alot of people still expecting covid money out of their stuff and cant come to grips with the stuff just isnt worth what it was a year ago. my wifes old car a year ago had a trade in of 6500 on jd power, now its 3500. the market for everything seems to be bombing and no one seems to want to hear it.

.
I was told BBP was 6 to 8 WEEKS old, not months. Prices have been dropping rapidly in the last two months, especially on discretionary purchases.... I never had good luck with NADA, because I always found it all over the place... up & down. I haven't cehcked it in quite awhile, so no current experience with their values.
This last Feb, I actually had a dealer I did a prior purchase from, tell me about his 2014 Low Rider for sale.... "We all got caught up in the market trying to sell bikes during Covid. I probably have more into it than I should". He then said he'd sell me the bike for what he had into it, and I just pay tax & license above that number. Unfortunately, he wanted $1000 more than BBP's "average retail". I inspected the bike. I told him that the bike was arguably less than average condition, certainly was no where near $1000 above average in condition... I walked..
It took awhile, but I finally found one that was in excellent condition at a great price. I found a 2016 Lowrider, with 12K miles, that was easily the cleanest LowRider I had looked at in 6 months. It was really clean... I got it for $200 below BBP's average retail...

Wow, that's a first I've seen BBP having a higher number than anybody...
But these are wierd times... Luckily I'm not trying to buy a vehicle of any kind right now..
Good luck with your search and purchase...
