Really not specific to the Touring thread, but I've tried several downloads to my PCIII and still have a dead spot off of idle. Isn't there when the 'Commander isn't hooked up. I've talked to Dyna Jet and tryed all of their suggestions, like resetting the idle zero, to no avail.

Any other suggestions?
There is a firmware update that should fix this problem. It did on my bike, although my problem was minor. I have a beta version (2.2.0) on my PCIII now and it is flawless. The newer version also addresses problems some are having with detonation. If you want v2.2.0, email me and I'll send it to you. You'll need v3.1.7 or higher to upgrade the firmware. Don't upgrade the firmware with the bike running, but use the 9v adapter.
I also had the dead spot right off idle. Tried a bunch of stuff including custom MAP from Dr. Dyno where he increased the timing in the lower RPM/throttle postion, which fixed most of it. But then Dynojet came out with this firmware update which fixedmy problem 1000% (I removed the additional timing Dr Dyno had put in there). I am totally happy and satisfied with the PC3 now.
I was so fed up with it I was conemplating spending$ for another controller just to get ridof it. If you haven;t tried the firmware update, i would strongly sugest it before you did much else.
