I was thinking about ordering the Klock Werks version. Anyone have any experience with theirs?
I ran the Klock Works version for 50K miles on a 2009 FLHX with no issues whatsoever. I will add that the installation instructions that came with the axle had a disclaimer that stated "for display purposes only." Not sure what that was all about.
I'll get pics. My legs are HD chrome with 70K miles. No issues with them. The chrome HD caps look like hell.
I see it now. The chrome is just a cheap chrome coating on plastic. I like the Khromewerks kit, a little pricey, but I don't know what sort of hassle they might be in pulling the wheel for tire changes. The HD plain chrome cap may be metal and last longer.

I'd have to contact the manufacturer for an explanation before I would run any part as important as an axle, that came with that disclaimer...
