The only ones shooting themselves in the foot are the ones who purchased a 2023 RG/SG special or ST. Overnight the value just went down $3-4K.
I just purchased a 23 RG ST and I'm perfectly satisfied, knowing what I know now. I have zero regerts about my purchase. If I bought today, I'd still get the 23.
I picked my 2023 up on December 30 expecting 2024 to bring significant changes. I'm still on a new bike and 2-3 years I'll sell or trade it in. I will not divulge the specifics of the deal I got because no would believe me anyway. No shooting go on here. Extremely happy with this new Road Glide.

Exactly how I feel about my 23 SGS purchase. Love the bike and would do it again.

I love my '23 RG ST, and there's a ton of stuff available to make it even better. If I was to buy today, I'd have to keep my enthusiasm in check; while I prefer the updates for '24, I'd want to wait a couple years for all he bugs to be identified and addressed. I still think buying the '23 and not waiting was the right move

EDIT: Just noticed, post #117; how fitting, LOL.
My problem has been, there's so much to make it better. I spent a lot. I can't say how much, even though my wife isn't on this site, I can't take that chance. But no joke, I have $50k in my bike now.

my biggest fear in life is when I die, my wife will sell my Harley for how much I told her I spent on it

I told her that about my guns. She actually knows what I spent on the bike. She got all the rewards points on the credit card and I paid it off in cash. No debt, and enough points to buy the exhaust she wanted for her bike.
