Are you saying RDRS prevented the bike from ending up sideways? If so, I’m assuming you meant you will never buy another bike without RDRS? Just trying to make sure I’m interpreting correctly since I now have RDRS, but only 250 miles on the bike at this point.

Stop being a baby back bitch and don't buy one if you don't like them. Harley isn't going to lose any sleep because someone on the internet doesn't like the new models

As somebody who just recently bought his first Harley after 45 years of riding other brands, I just want to say how devastated I am to hear the news that somebody on the internet doesn't like the new models and is threatening to buy another brand.

This'll require a double shot of bourbon for sure.

I'm kind of curious about the social situation where one might expect to receive such a question? On the line greeting the pastor after church perhaps?

<Preacher> "Hi, Joe! You look great. So, What kind of birth control do you use?"

If I got that question, I'd stare at the inquisitor with a maybe-crazy look in my eye (think Croc Dundee in the Knife scene or Billy Butcher from the Boys), and say in a thick Australian accent, "Oi, can't you tell, it's too late for me mate 'cause I'm already here!!"

As you can see, I'm a horrible writer. I meant that RDRS is now indispensable to me as an always-vigilant safety feature. I corrected the text of my post.

No worries! This is my first touring bike and I have a lot to learn so, like I said, I just wanted to make sure I was interpreting things correctly. RDRS was one of the features I was interested in when researching bikes, so I’m happy to hear you’ve had positive experiences with it.

Thank you very much for sharing!

As per my post 101 in this thread, I just bought a 2024 Road Glide. a few hours ago. Onyx White Pearl with chrome trim. It's still on the dealer's floor with a SOLD sign on the handlebar Still got to get the Road King I traded to em..

After seeing it up close, I found that there is ONE thing I'm not that fond of with the new Road Glides / Street Glides.. The wheels. I don't like the spokes. There's no real symmetry. I'm not quite sure what the pattern is supposed to be. I really liked the slicer wheels I had on my Road King. But, it's a small thing. I can live with it..

Exact opposite reaction here. My first thought was: those will be so easy to clean!

PS - I prefer function to form so things like this appeal to me. Like the unpainted inner fairing and plastic speaker covers vs. cloth. It'll be easier to clean, thus I'll wash it more often.

I really like the new front fenders... Would be a nice addition to my 2017 SG
