I just bought a BMW 1000RR on Saturday. It was the Lego model, but it's official merch.

You guys took my rant about being disappointed with the direction that Harley is going in and turned into a pissing contest. you blind brand loyalists are something else… haha

If I dont have to adjust the points, rebuild the carb, and add 2 quarts of oil before every ride i AINT buyin it!!!

I`m guessing that most of the guys here have never owned a motorcycle with points and condenser (but that is only a guess).

Possibly. I just do not understand the fear of the electronics.. Wonder if their cars all still use acetylene headlamps

You are surprised that there are blind HD loyalists on a Harley Davidson forum?

I`m a big fan of electronic ignitions and fuel injection.

No reason to fear electronics, the modern systems are way more dependable than the old ignition systems of the `70s and earlier.

Yup...74 Norton 850 Commando...got rid of the 2 Amal carbs and installed a single Mikuni on a 1 into 2 intake which cured my starting problem for good...

H-D is delivering some beautiful bikes. So are Ducati, BMW, RE, Suzuki, Guzzi, Triumph, and BSA. Honda just won Dakar. Again. Kawasaki stuck a super charger on a bike and created a retro of my '76 KZ900. I love all of them. Except Hodaka.
