Not sure about the Road glide - the side profile doesn't look as good as the previous model & head on it resembles the Indian challenger.......... which I remember everyone commenting on it in a negative way. I do like the 117 & some of the colors are really sharp, the alpine green in person is a must-see color - beautiful.
The prices...........eh, still high but, they`re offering more for less than previous year models. The new fairing design & digital display I'm not real sure of? seems those kinds of displays sun fade in time, so will have to wait & see. overall, not too bad but now I'd have to get the street glide because I like it better than the new roadie. I'm wondering what dealers are going to do with bikes that have the 107 in em still on the floor? My local dealer has a road glide 107 with the up graded boom or whatever it is & the rdrs system added (I think its called that) for over 26K - I started laughing and told her you`re gonna need to discount that thing in a serious way. Harley kind of screwed the pooch in offering what they did at the price point for 24, it just cheapened everything prior.
But, hey my heritage is Vivid Black - there's a positive, LOL
I gotta admit - after watching Harley's promo flick I was like wtf was that; it's kind of soured me on the new models. However I've watched couple YT walk arounds and today I've finally threw a leg over an RG at the dealership. Well, I guess I'm a convert (fairing is still not my cup of tea but it might grow on me) everything else I like about the bike.
Even stock bars fit me just right ! Better shocks, seat, bars, LED front and back, obviously a bigger engine. I like it and really want to see the limited version. Oh and yeah at the dealership they still have few 2023 glides which are more expensive than this year model.
went down today and up close the Pearl White is amazing..pretty sure I will be getting this bike
Ive stopped by the dealer as well today and sat on one (actually same color). It felt really good for me - the seat even the bars were perfect for me and yeah that color really pops.

same here, that is a big win to not have to even think about spending more on..really all I need initially is a taller windscreen, rider backrest and luggage rack..later on heated grips, highway pegs, heim joint shift linkage, not much else I can think of
I too went and saw the new ones today. The green is better in person than in pictures, not quite as blue as the pics make it look. Blue Burst is really nice and even better in person than online. Whiskey Fire may be my favorite color yet. It's even better than last year's CVO whiskey neat. It's just a bit redder, they could almost have called it blood orange. Copperhead is much darker in person than I thought it would be and it changes in the light from brown to almost purple. The new white looks like it has ice pearl in it. If you like white, it's cool. All in all, the new colors are miles better than the last few years. The new fairings are growing on me. It did find out that heated grips are not yet available for the new SG/RG, they appear to be CVO only at the moment. The base models have new grips as well, they are not smooth like the old ones, they have a waffle pattern to them and seem to be more grippy, but also seem cheaper than the old ones. The heated grips on the CVOs have a new on/off method. The twist **** on the end of the left grip is gone and it has button on the end of the grip. I would assume you have keep pushing it to level up and then back to off, but I didn't get to try it. The CVO ST sounds a bit meaner than the other bikes even with stock mufflers.
Red Rock was probably the biggest disappointment, it's brown and it's blah like the billiard colors from the last few years.
The Whiskey Fire SG I saw was a blacked out model, and that's probably a good thing for me. Had it been chrome, I may still be there working out a trade in deal.
