Plus they have to mark it up when they resell it to put more money in there pockets but still need the selling price lower than a new bike

two things i can actually appreciate on the new bikes are the price and the bump in displacement, but that will really kick the value of used bikes right in the pants. doesnt matter what you paid new, if i can buy new for less than used, im going new every time. honestly, used would have to be at least 5k less than new for me to go that route.

I was told around here Central NY, by a dealer, they don't use KBB, they use JD Power, which is significantly less. I thought long and hard before I bought my 22 RGS new, I know that doesn't help, I guess it boils down to how bad you want the new bike?

The last bike I bought from a dealer, the price they gave me was only a few dollars different then NADA / JD Powers pricing. it was close enough for me, They won't be exact no matter where you look. If you finance thru the dealer,a bank or credit union, The loan value will be different depending who they go by.,,
