Very true. Although, I'd say I CAN see some of the people around the forums buying the older style bikes "to get the last real Harley" because the new bikes look like a spaceship or Indian. People are actually saying that

I came from BMW and the last air/oil cooled RT was the 2013. Lots of folks, including myself, ran out and bought one. The new water cooled boxers are fine but they've lost some of their character. The switch to water cooling was to help meet EU emission standards. They run very lean now.

Anyway, two months ago I bought my first HD. It's a 2023 SG. The one of the reasons I bought it was for the air/oil cooled engine. I had no idea the new bikes were on the way. I got a pretty good discount, now I know why.
