I'm haveing a prob. trying to find something to help protect my rear bags because I have the covers that go in front of the bags so I can't put rear crash-bars on. I would have to see if I laid my bike over where my front crash-bar contacts and if that touches before my rear bags will hit the ground…I would think this bag "protection" would just help keeping the bottom part from getting to scratched/ damaged on a tip-over or slow lowside…just my .02

My personal experience FWIW
No way affiliated with siouxicide parts just a consumer who independently saw product online and thought hmm, maybe somethings there. Either way bought, installed and a few weeks later on a road trip to Gatlinburg, TN got myself in a wonky position leaving a parking lot and dumped the bike. Felt like such an idiot, passers by help me get up on and I got out of there as fast as I could. Back to the place able to calm down and assess damage and there was none. Looking back did it prevent scuffs?? Or was it so wonky I got lucky?? Dont know only thinking it did help..over priced for 2 pieces of 1/4 inch chrome metal, in a literal and face value aspect hell yeah..but did I do the r&d testing with advertising and such No..so stepping back and appreciating no damage, worth it to me, yes..An experience and opinion of one, to recommend.
