Hi
First, I did a search and could not find any threads talking about replacement jacks, even tho I've seen some here. Sorry to ask again.
I bought my J&S jack in the summer of 2011. Today, I was going to let the bike down and the jack wouldn't do anything. What would be a good replacement?
It has to be American made and handle the weight of my 2016 ultra. I could go to harbor freight and get a jack, but i want American made
In less there is a better way. I plan to leave the bike in the air hoping the stops will hold it while i use cribbing blocks on the wheels
then take the bad jack out and first try to refill it. if not I'll put in the new one and let it down.

Mike, I replaced the bottle jack on my j&s several years ago. I bought it online, sorry I cant remember who made it but the bolt pattern lined up and it was a simple swap. The replacement has been working fine for the past five years.
Is it leaking fluid? Mine was leaking out around the release valve. Pulled it off, dumped the old fluid and installed new o'rings. Refilled with fluid with stop leak in it. Been working ever since.
I can see converting a table. But a jack seems over kill.
I've been lucky mine is 20 years old.
Myself id probably get one today from harbor freight, and put the other on work bench, where it would sit for 10 years. But having back up would be nice
