Mad respect for those that do it simply because they can. No need for cookie cutter bikes when you have skills., Well done! This should be a stickie so it doesn't get buried over time. I'm sure there are many owners that would like to tackle this project too.
I did this conversion to my 2002 FLHTC in 2018. Very easy to do. Even easier if you have a 2003 to 2006 model touring bike as you don't need to source an EFI tank. I documented the project on HTT.
Thank you for the kind words everyone! I hope someone finds this useful eventually. You guys have definitely encouraged me to do more write ups in the future.

You did a good job with the project and write up. It's a great upgrade. As a note, I upgraded to the Brembo brakes as I see you did also. That was a huge upgrade. I did both, front and rear. The rear is a bit more involved.
I researched it for years and collected parts as they came along. I knew my motor had more in it and the efi brought it to the max. Could have used a bigger carb but wanted to retain cruise control and finding a SE 44mm carb with cruise plate was like finding the holy grail (very few made). The only wiring I needed was the efi harness. It plugged right into the main harness. I finally just did it when I had time in 2019. Just told myself, "the bike is stupid, it doesn't know if it's a carb bike or efi bike on the assembly line, just a few different parts". I was fortunate to have an oem efi TB with sensors. I transferred the sensors to the HPI 51mm. It's the small parts that kill you on price. If I didn't need to switch tanks, it would have been fairly inexpensive. I was able to trade some parts for efi stuff also.
You must admit this is rare. People are more likely to convert MM to carb. Also early delphi when people though you couldn't use FI for builds people would convert to carb.
I think doing something just to do it is cool. I like delphi. But not to many people are going to convert to FI. if you are honest you know that.

Thanks! Luckily I have a tank that can be EFI or Carb otherwise it wouldve been a hell of a lot more expensive. The Brembo upgrade is a must on these old baggers. I havent done the rear yet but thats definitely in the near future. Im planning on doing the front/rear caliper swap and Brembo RCS19 install as my next write up!
Very nice write-up. It contains very useful information for anyone wanting to make the conversion.

Cool project.
Rounders, no one has to admit anything. You keep doubling down on your BS. It's infuriating. Rare or not, whether one person or a thousand converts carb to EFI, the information provided by the OP is very useful. That's it. Period. It's enough already !!!.
