I'm looking for a complete 89 FLHTC roller frame. My bike caught fire and I was gonna rebuild it but upon further inspection I think I'm gonna be better off just to put my engine and tranny on another frame. any direction as to where I can find one that's not made of gold would be greatly appreciated thanx.
I have enough stuff to mostly build a early TC softail. Missing a frame, wheels, and some small stuff. I looked around for a roller or a bike with a bricked engine or something for a while but mostly gave up. I found a couple of flood bikes that were basically junk as far as engine and tranny but the rest would be useable. Everything like that had a salvage due to insurance totaling them. Seems everything I came across didn't have a title or the money made it not worthwhile.
Frame is good just don't want to mess with rewiring I don't really have the time and I want to ride this summer
In other words you need a bike minus the engine and trans?
Makes some sense.
Terminology gets me in trouble a good bit LOL
Can't remember seeing what we call (least around here) a rolling frame with anything more than wheels and frame.
