I'm thinking about ordering one of these but wanted to see if anyone else used one on a Street Glide ST. Also do they get in the way for any maintenance? Thanks all.
I have one on my 2021 Street Glide. I love it. I only drug mine once on a speedbump but I was 2 up with bags loaded and a bag on the luggage rack. It also saves room in the garage because it sits vertical. I have a wheeldock for my other touring bike. The two combined save room in my garage.
Worst "upgrade" I ever made. Put the bike down on it's side when I thought I'd properly extended the stand from a seated position (ok...my fault). Almost killed me when one of the pivot bolts worked it's way free and I caught the drooping end of the stand on a speed bump. Nearly cantilevered the bike right up and over the front wheel! Scary **** right there. Realized there was nothing wrong with the jiffy stand and I was never going to use the EZ-Up for maintenance purposes (I have a lift for that). The very nice people at Wheeldock had no issue with me returning the stand for a full refund.
P.S. I'd also read all the great reviews and watched the YouTube videos so I figured it was money well spent...it wasn't
I've been thinking about getting one also. I keep imagining having a flat rear tire & having to roll the bike a few inches at a time by myself trying to find a puncture. It would also make it way easier to check tire pressure. I have Fobo tire pressure monitors, but with a center stand I'd get rid of them. The app drains my phone battery when I'm logged in.
