on a 07 i think you only would have to adj the clutch on the cable by handlebars.no allen needed for that,(i believe justtwo 3/8ths wrenches?).sounds like you read about clutch adj in the primary, which you shouldn't need to do yet.just my 2 cents

Adjust the clutch cable slack at the twin down tubes just above the oil filter.
You should not need to adjust the actual clutch it`s self.

well that was the question on my mind all day. almost sounded like you only adj clutch in primary after parts replacement. so i just need to adjust the cable right? have 21k on the bike. no prob that ive noticed other than slack at lever

1/2 and 9/16 wrench. loosen cable. slack at clutch lever.
If your adjusting the clutch behind cover. you would need 5/8 socket and I believe 5/32 allen wrench. I adjustment mine room temp at 1/4 turn out. Manual states 3/4 to 1 turn. can not take up all the free slack at lever with that much adjustment. besides like were my clutch engauges.
Torque on the 5/8 is 25 foot lbs. per manual Pull clutch lever 3 times. to set adjustment.
adjust slack at clutch lever to around 1/8 to 1/16 free space. Thats were you need the wrenches.
Those screws on cover are torque to 84 inch pounds. Please use a Snap on socket for the screws
27 torx.
