2005 ultra
Original owner with 48000 miles, gear driven cams, led headlight upgrade.,thunder max ignition, upgraded stereo and speakers and a cover.price is 85 cad.any issues on the bike I should be concerned about?I'm seriously considering this bike.
That is about $6200 US. Seems a touch high for the mileage, but if she is really clean.
Lot of work claimed, do they have receipts to prove it?
Ask if they ever did the swing arm bearings, she will probably need that done at that mileage.
Good luck, pics would help.

I don't know, a 2005 Ultra in my neck of the woods, especially this time of the year, would be about $7500, even with that mileage. Also has some nice upgrades with the gear driven cams, etc. Plus, 48000 miles is nothing on a twin cam 88 if the maintenance was done.

That seems pretty reasonable to me, not seeing much around here for that price, more in the 7 - 8k range, that gear drive cam upgrade is especially nice. Hopefully a test drive, and cold start would be allowed. Noting I hate worse than walking up to a warm bike to see and hear it run.
I was surprised to see that $6700 is average retail, I thought the asking price would be high, but apparently it's not...

I wouldn't consider the gear cams in my offer, unless they have receipts. They can't be seen without a partial tear down. If you can tell it has gear driven cams by the noise, I would worry they weren't installed properly. While they do sound a little different than the chain cams, if they are noisy, it could be the gear lash wasn't checked/set during install (bad), or the engine's run-out was over the allowable .003" at the time of installation (again bad)...
You should be able to verify the other "extras" with a good visual inspection..
Then it would boil down to condition and how it runs....
Good luck with your decision...

To me it is not a bad deal at all.
My only gripe is the last picture where it is under a cover, (what the hell for).
Maybe he is trying to show he looked after it.
Love the colour also.
Got pics?
